September 2016

Soft, hard, POS & durable signage + fabric & clothing production on stand D17

SYDNEY, 12 September 2016 – At this year's Visual Impact show Epson will be pulling out all the stops with a wide range of products and demonstrations that cover interior décor, POS, POP, durable outdoor signage and direct to garment (DTG) applications.

The first main demo area belongs to the Epson SureColor Signage range. Epson's latest generation Eco-Solvent printers, comprised of the entry-level S40600, the high-speed S60600 and the high-colour S80600, have drawn acclaim for their outstanding print quality and ultra-low running costs. The new range features Epson PrecisionCore head technology and a new UltraChrome ink set that delivers prints with unparalleled quality, brightness and colour gamut. The printers produce output that dries extraordinarily quickly to enable same-day job turnaround even when lamination is required. On the stand Epson will be demonstrating the SC-S60600 that not only offers extremely high production speeds but uses a 4-colour ink set to produce a colour gamut that rivals or exceeds that of competitors with 6-colour or even 8-colour ink sets. It can be used with a wide range of media and is suitable for many applications including durable signage and POS displays, wall finishes, vehicle wraps, labels and decals.

The new Epson SureColor Production range will be on show in the second demo area. This series was specifically developed to address the needs of POS and POP producers. It features a new ultra-wide 2.64" PrecisionCore print head and an advanced intelligent media feed management system that enables production of colour accurate graphic and photo material at speeds of 20-40m2/hr. It uses a new low cost aqueous UltraChrome 10-colour ink set that provides outstanding colour density and accuracy complete with 4 levels of black. Flexible media support is combined with an optional ATU and 320GB HDD + high-speed Adobe® certified Postscript™ module for optimal productivity. On the stand Epson will be demonstrating the new 64" P20070 with dedicated photo and matte black ink lines that negate the time and cost associated with interchange. If you produce interior signage, saleable graphic, or photo material, this range is a must see.

The third demo area belongs to the new Epson SureColor Technical range. This series is designed to address the needs of retail and business graphic printing. It uses a low cost 5-colour aqueous UltraChrome ink set to produce extremely cost-effective output on coated and uncoated stocks. Prints dry instantly and provide exceptional durability against abrasion and moisture damage. Available in a range of sizes from 24 to 44", Epson SureColor Technical printers can be ordered with an optional ATU as well as the same 320GB HDD/Postscript module offered with the Production range. On the stand Epson will be demonstrating the 44" T7200D MFP with dual roll loading and high precision LFP scanning/copying functionality. The Production range is ideal for users who need to produce impactful POS/POP or low cost poster material.

The fourth demo area highlights the acclaimed SureColor Fabric range. If you are interested in producing soft or hard signage, custom textiles, clothing or merchandise, Epson has you covered. We have a full range of OEM solutions that include everything from software and hardware to ink and media, all backed with comprehensive factory warranties. On the stand Epson will be showcasing the high-speed F9200 dye-sublimation (DS) printer as well as the highly acclaimed F2000 Direct to Garment (DTG) printer.

Visual Impact runs from 15-17 September at Sydney Showground, Sydney Olympic Park.
