Automate the processing of cheques, money orders and returns at the point of sale with the new TM-H6000 III now with cheque and card scanner. Originating in the UK, Wagamama is a restaurant chain specialising in nutritious noodle meals and was brought to Australia in 2001 by business partners Stewart Koziora and Luke Fryer. Since opening the first Wagamama restaurant, the two partners have built on their success by opening a further eight restaurants across the country. With a focus on good food and quick service, Wagamama Australia has implemented a combined Epson and PalmTEQ Point-of-Sale (POS) solution, consisting of Epson operating terminals, kitchen and receipt printers and WaiterPad hand-helds, hardware and software.

Han's Cafe a Perth franchise have been able to increase their turnover by almost 100% since implementing the Epson and PalmTEQ POS solution. Featuring the advanced Epson MR-800 and SR-600 POS terminals, Epson TM-88III kitchen and receipt printers along with PalmTEQ handheld waiter Pads, services and POS terminal software Han's Cafe has been able to reduce the amount of time in taking the order, getting it through to the kitchen and then having the food delivered to the customers.
Requiring a solution for just one location, Hurricane's Grill implemented two SR-600 terminals - one for the front desk and another for the bar area - two Epson TM-88III kitchen printers; two Epson TM-U230 receipt printers ; and 6 PalmTEQ hand-held WaiterPads for the waiting staff. The team at Hurricane's comment "The new POS are really quite impressive. Their speed, clarity and reliability in being able to withstand such a high demand work environment are precisely everything for which we could have hoped."

Bear Solution's are one of Australia's leading developers and manufacturers of card-and-account based financial systems. Bear Solutions supplies Cash Card Terminals to university campuses where by students are able to purchase new cards or add credit for services such as photocopying, printing, automated library lending systems and boom gate operation. The EU -T432 has many features that have been beneficial for the Card Cashiers, least of which is it has simply allowed the Card Cashier to be more visually high -tech and is reliable and robust suitable to rough treatment. The EU-T432 provides sensor technology which alerts the Card Cashier's on-board computer when the paper is running low or at the end of a roll triggering a predetermined and configured alert response. This same sensor is able to adjust printing and cutting distance as required. Due to the small form factor of the EU-T432, BEAR was able to accommodate a larger paper roll reducing maintenance visits and additionally increasing the ease of loading a new role. The EU-T432 has a 'print-then-feed' system avoiding printer jams and the paper feeds in barely a few seconds. The EU-T432 provides all of these benefits at an extremely competitive price.

Epson has recently appointed John Marshall to the position of Business Systems Account Manager. John has a wealth of experience in Australian IT channel and will be responsible for supporting our Epson POS business partners in the Australian channel.
Epson Australia has revamped the distribution strategy for Point of Sale [POS] devices marketed by its Business Systems Division, adding two new national distributors alongside DH Technology - POS POS and Unique Micro Design. The new arrangements take effect from April 2004.
Business Manager for Epson’s Business Systems Division, Jason Whiley, said the aim is to have a broader distribution model that gives more direct access for resellers and dealers.

enhancing an already powerful range. Systems come in a variety of
configurations, with options such as, DSTN or TFT resistive touch screens, HDD
