Mortgage Choice Northern Beaches Chooses Epson WorkForce DS-860 Scanner
For efficiency and speed
SYDNEY, 16 February 2016 - When Lisa Crawford, Loan Consultant for Mortgage Choice Northern Beaches, was looking for a way to help make her office procedures more efficient, she chose an Epson WorkForce DS-860 scanner.
Crawford explained, "As a mortgage broker we have lots of documents that we need to scan and collate for every application. These include supporting documentation and information from the client and it all arrives piecemeal. It takes a significant amount of time to put all these documents together into one application as each submission ranges from 40-125 pages."

Crawford's office was previously using their multi-function printer to also scan documents. She added, "This was OK but slow. So when I saw the speed and efficiency of the DS-860 I was sold."
Producing world-class performance for fast paced businesses, the ultra-fast WorkForce DS-860 document scanner is designed for situations where speed is critical and dependability is paramount.
Blazing through scans up to 65ppm (pages per minute), it features auto paper size detection and dynamic skew correction to prevent paper jams and avoid downtime. A robust and reliable workhorse, the DS-860 includes an 80-page Auto Doc Feeder (ADF) and 6,000 page daily duty cycle. TWAIN and ISIS compatibility make it ideal for use with existing professional document management systems, while advanced image adjustments make getting sharp scans simple. The DS-860 even scans directly to popular cloud services.
Crawford continued, "The DS-860 is very very quick. It saves our entire office time and is very efficient. There are no paper jams and no scanning errors. You also don't need to stand and watch the machine while it scans. This all means what used to take 10 minutes now takes 30 seconds. A massive time saving. As a result we have improved our workflows and document management tremendously. Using the DS-860 also means there is no frustration as it works every time. Finally, as it's so compact it takes up very little room in the office and is transportable if we need it to be. I would definitely recommend the DS-860 to any business with a high volume of scanning documents."
