Sydney August 6th 2003 - Epson Australia has today launched a fantastic new online environment for Epson customers called Club Epson. Club Epson is a dynamic website where Epson users and their friends and family can learn new ways to use their Epson products, shop online for Epson consumables and safely store and share their digital images.
Club Epson is free to join and requires a quick 2 minute registration process that provides access to its four main areas:

PhotoStation is a fantastic resource for storage of images, with continual backup courtesy of Epson and the ability to store and share your images online. The sharing facility is cleverly designed so that members upload their album and then invite family and friends to view the photos via email. The PhotoStation invite contains a login and password and directs third party viewers directly to the album(s) in question. So it's safe to upload your images as only you and those you choose can view them.
Epson PhotoStation allocates 30 megabytes of storage space per member, and accepts upload direct from your PC or Macintosh in JPEG format. Epson's range of scanners come standard with a plug-in for the site, so members can "scan to web" with one button making uploading photos to share with friends or family, a breeze, and a lot simpler than creating your own website. Members can create multiple albums, select different photo frame styles, and print directly from their album.
With the dramatic increase in the use of Digital Cameras, Epson's PhotoStation solves one aspect of the digital still camera dilemma - "where do I store my images". And unlike other site, Club Epson is located on a dedicated Australian server with a fast internet link.
Creative Corner provides activities for adults, children and SOHO businesses such as templates for printing your own business cards, dozens of online projects to keep the kids busy - simply print direct from the Creative Corner site.
The online Competitions & Promotions section highlights promotions on Epson products and allowing online entry to these promotions. As Epson launches new promotions and competitions these will be displayed on the Club Epson site.
Epson's Shop Online is available to Club Epson members and allows secure online purchasing of the entire range of Genuine Epson inks and papers. A small selection of Multi Functional Printers and Home theatre projectors are also available for purchase.
Membership of the Club Epson site is free and is subject to comprehensive terms and conditions that prohibit the uploading of offensive or illegal material. Epson staff continually monitor uploaded images to ensure that no offensive or illegal content is added.
