Epson TM-T88 ReStick - Product Release

May 2011

Epson’s new liner-free repositionable label printer increases revenue and customer satisfaction, cuts costs

Sydney 17 May 2011: Epson has released a liner-free repositionable label printer that can help prevent inaccurate orders and production inefficiencies to increase customer satisfaction and repeat business while greatly reducing waste and costs.

Epson’s TM-T88 ReStick label printer is ideal for a wide range of retail service applications including quick service, fast food, take-away restaurants, retail and groceries to help improve order accuracy, reduce food costs and packaging spoilage, speed work flow, and increase customer satisfaction.

Based on new technology, the TM-T88 ReStick liner-free label printer provides the greatest reliability and trouble-free printing of repositionable labels which stick to almost any material, and there is no need to peel off and dispose of a paper liner, reducing cost, waste and time.

Analysis of the fast food business alone has shown that inaccurate orders can be as high as 15%[1] of total orders placed, creating unrecoverable costs and considerable waste as these products have to be thrown away. Replacement of inaccurate orders creates further delays, a major cause of customer frustration in take-away food outlets and retail outlets.

The TM-T88 ReStick uses cost effective silicone-free, liner-free MAXStick labels that can be quickly and conveniently replaced or repositioned without damaging the underlying packaging surface. MAXStick labels are variable length rolls which help in reducing costs and eliminate the need to hold inventory of different media sizes.

As the latest in Epson’s market-leading TM-T88 series of thermal transaction printers with durable and proven construction and design, the innovative TM-T88 ReStick prints and cuts liner-free thermal paper rolls on demand at high speed and with outstanding reliability.

The TM-T88 ReStick label printer is compatible with Epson’s other TM-T88 series printers, so almost no software changes or application development is required to easily integrate it into current systems.

Fast and reliable, the TM-T88 ReStick label printer prints both text and barcodes at a crisp resolution of 203 x 203 dpi. It features variable length label output, 80 mm labels/receipts, autocutter, small footprint and more.

And because the TM-T88 ReStick can print both liner-free labels and receipts, the same printer can be used throughout the business, minimising service, supplies and training costs.

Epson’s liner-free ReStick label printer is a cost-effective solution for a wide range of label applications in the fast food, hospitality and convenience industries including:

  • Exception labels
  • Bag tag labels
  • Product labels
  • Pizza Box labels
  • Sandwich wrap labels

  • Take-away order labels
  • Freshness dating labels
  • Delivery receipt labels
  • Refrigerator coupons
  • Prepared food labels
