Epson releases new compact Small-in-One multifunction printers for home

Epson Australia has released a new range of Small-in-One multifunction printers with a new sleek and ultra-compact design. Ideal for home users, the Expression Home all-purpose multifunction printer range including, the Expression Home XP-200, Expression Home XP-300 and Expression Home XP-400.

Significantly smaller in size compared to previous Epson multifunction printers the new Expression Home range still retains all the necessary easy to use features that allow users to perform day to day printing, scanning and copying all in a new ultra-compact size.

“These Expression Home models are a part of our Small-in-One range and are compact performers purposely designed to complement any modern home environment while taking up as little space as possible and delivering plenty of flexibility with copious features and great value for money,” said Epson’s Director of Marketing Communications, Mike Pleasants.

All three Expression Home models have automatic Wi-Fi set-up making printing wirelessly from anywhere around the home extremely easy as the Expression Home printers automatically configure the wireless connection with users connected in a matter of seconds without having to connect with a USB cable.

For convenient and flexible mobile printing from devices such as smartphones and tablets the Expression Home range features Epson Connect and also supports Apple AirPrintä for direct wireless printing from iOS devices, and Google Cloud Printä that allows users to print documents, spreadsheets and presentations stored in Google Drive.

Epson Connect includes Epson Email Print which allows users to print emails, documents and photos by sending them to an email enabled Epson printer, and Epson iPrint that allows iOS or Android devices to print anytime to a nearby wireless Epson printer, scan and save files to their devices, send them via email, or upload to cloud services.

The Expression Home printers use Epson’s DURABrite® Ultra resin-coated pigment ink that produces brilliant colour and ultra-sharp text and photo quality prints at up to 5760 dpi. DURABriteâ is also fast drying so users can grab their prints and go. All prints are water, fade and smudge resistant and highlighter friendly. With individual ink cartridges users only need to replace the colours they use with the option of high capacity ink cartridges for users who print higher volumes of documents and photos at home.

For added ease of use the Expression Home XP-300 and Expression Home XP-400 each have an intuitive colour LCD touch panel, 1.4” and 2.5” respectively for easy navigation and both also have card slots so users can view, crop and print photos without a PC.

The Expression Home XP-200 is RRP$89, Expression Home XP-300 is RRP$99 and the Expression Home XP-400 is RRP$129.
