Rated 4 out of 5 by from Lowest total cost of ownership for a high quality printer This is my third B-310N. The first was replaced by Epson after a nozzle failed within the first month. The second ran for 2.5 years before the yellow ink line failed and it bled two yellow ink cartriges dry. I suspect that it will not be economical to repair this fault, so I just bought a B-310N to swap it out. (Note that the printer's usage tracking system could not detect this, as I suspect it only counts the amount of ink delivered by the print head. The printer worked well with the duplexer option for about 2 years, until it could only duplex without jamming if the paper was fed from the upper auto feeder and not the paper cassette, but this was easy enough to live with. Despite these flaws the B-310N still one of the best value printers by virtue of ink cartridges that deliver at least 50ml of colour and 80ml of black ink. (I weigh the ink cartridges when I replace them.) It was used for both text and graphic printing with Xrite calibration to various papers. The standard paper I use is a 100gsm inkjet paper.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from What a printer!!! Since shopping for printers for a few weeks and not having seen the Epson B-310 in person, i thought i would give it a go due to the cheap running costs and the fact this was built to pump out never ending paper. We only print a small amount so it should be able to last a very long time for us. So far, this printer has a great contrast for photos, even on standard paper, i am yet to put in some A4 photo paper to check it out. The set up was quick and easy, the printing, well, it is lightening fast!!! I have seen quick printers but this colour printer printing colour spits out the pages at (almost) the speed of sound! I have seen printers for 2 grand printing black only not even go at half the speed of this. And for a business printer it has great quality. I am not sure on the photo capability of it yet in which we will do in limited prints, but with the durabright ink they should turn out relatively good. Maybe not the exact same as a super high quality print but i have good hopes and feel it should do a wonderful job. All in all, if you have a business and are sick of waiting for your printer to print and want a cheap and reliable printer to run, you should get one of these.
