With an Epson-developed Application Specific Integrated Circuit (ASIC), which is capable of high speed print data processing, the AcuLaser C2600N delivers rapid output in both monochrome and colour - even with prints containing high resolution images. The AcuLaser C2600N takes full advantage of the ASIC, resulting in print speed ratings of 7.5ppm (colour) and 30ppm (monochrome). With the combination of the ASIC, a 350MHz CPU and 64MB (expandable up to 512MB) memory, the First Page Out Time for the AcuLaser C2600N is just 8.7 seconds for monochrome and 14.7 seconds for colour prints.
