Epson Scan Software
Bundled with the Epson Perfection V30 is the highly acclaimed Epson Scan software, which can be used either as a high performance TWAIN driver in programs such as Adobe Photoshop, or as a standalone application. Contained within Epson Scan (Windows and Mac) are numerous feature enhancements, including backlight correction and dust removal functionality.
A strong feature of Epson scan is the ability to switch between user interface modes, each of which has been predefined to best suit the different experience levels. The four modes are:
Full Auto: Designed to simplify even relatively complex scanning operations, Full Auto mode uses pre–defined settings to ensure scanning is quick and easy.
Home: The perfect mode for balancing fine tuning scanning requirements with Epson Scan’s optimised default settings.
Office: Affords a range of easily accessible tools and features, that includes text enhancement, colour enhance and dropout, document skew correction and scan to high compression searchable PDF.
Professional: Delivering total scanning control, Professional mode caters to the needs of advanced users who require full flexibility in being able to adjust settings such as brightness, contrast, saturation, colour balance and tonal curve.
