The design of the P-2000 Multimedia storage viewer allows users to minimise the amount of memory cards required for photography purposes. It acts as a storage unit; enabling you to download images quickly from a digital still camera memory card then reuse that card within minutes.
Situated along the top edge of the P-2000 are the CompactFlash and SD/MMC card slots. The CompactFlash slot supports Type I and II (including MicroDrive) and both CF and SD card slots can be used simultaneously. If you have a card in both slots, the P-2000 will prompt you for which slot is to be used for copy to/from operations. With other third party adapters, other card types, such as xD-Picture card and Memory Stick can also be used.
