As opposed to typical spongetype filters, which fail to trap 100 per cent of dust particles, the EMP-6110 features an advanced electrostatic filter. In a constant state of electric charge, the filter traps all dust particles regardless of their size and charge nature positive or negative. This feature serves to extend the operational life of the projector and enhances its practical application in typically projectorunfriendly environments where dust and smoke are prevalent.
The projector also features a builtin wind velocity sensor that automatically triggers a signal, providing advanced warning of filter clogging. This provides the user with ample time anywhere up to a couple days before automatic shutdown occurs, thereby eliminating the problem of sudden and unexpected midpresentation projector shutdown.
Added to this is the automatic fan stopping feature that activates when the projector is switched to network standby mode. Aside from reducing the amount of dust being collected by the projector's filter when not in use, this feature works to conserve energy.
