Scanning at 3200 dpi resolution using an improved Matrix CCD (Charge Coupled Device) Micro Lens technology, the Perfection V100 Photo has superb light sensitivity without the overhead of a larger carriage. And with a dedicated on–board ASIC (Application Specific Integrated Circuit) hyper processor, the scanner delivers optimum levels of detail and gradation reproduction.
The scanner's light sensitivity is further enhanced by its 3.2 Dmax optical density; ensuring scans capture incredibly fine and subtle details in highlights and shadows.
