With its innovative bluish lamp technology, the Epson PERFECTION 4990 PHOTO
introduces a dramatic reduction in the time taken to scan negatives. By alleviating the
problems associated with using pure white light to scan negatives, the bluish lamp
maximises scanning speeds for blue image data.
One of the Epson PERFECTION 4990 PHOTO's many strengths is its moving carriagetype
TPU, with the ability to scan a complete 8 x 10–inch area. Working in combination with
the TPU, bundled film holders support simultaneous transparency and negative scanning of:
