Excellent print quality for this price range of printer
I only purchased this printer tow days ago, but I had some urgent photo and artwork printing to complete. The printer was very easy to setup. I have tried different paper types and when the type of paper is matched to the settings the printer gets great results. On premium glossy paper the colour and detail are both excellent for a printer in this price range. I did not expect the results to be as good as how it is performing. I would love if it Epson introduced using USB 3 instead of USB 2 which might improve the print speeds further.

Great value and quality
I come from a commercial photography background and have run my R1800 into the ground. Now beiing retired I could not believe that I would replace the R with a printer like the Artisan for such unbeleivable value.

Artisan 1430
Have had a Epson stylus photo R1800 for almost 10 years and there
was a need to replace it. Installation procedure for the Artisan 1430
was very easy and went without a glitch.
Have started printing and find the quality of the prints excellent.
Looking forward to many years of hassle free photo printing.
