Gone are the days of time–consuming print alignment and nozzle check procedures. The Stylus Pro 3800 - 17" A2 features an in–built sensor that automatically checks for any of the Micro Piezo print head's nozzles that may be misfiring, resulting in misalignment or blockages.
Running either the printer driver's Nozzle Check or Print Head Alignment utilities, the Stylus Pro 3800 - 17" A2 prints a special nozzle check pattern, which is then read by the in–built sensor to detect any nozzle print errors. In both cases, if an error is detected, the utility forces the printer to either clean the head in the case of missing nozzles or adjust the head alignment for misaligned prints.
Once the adjustments are made, the printer generates another nozzle check pattern and verifies that the error has been rectified. It's all about ensuring your prints maintain the high quality you and your customers expect of an Epson print.
