One of the key factors in achieving absolute clarity in prints is precise ink droplet formation. By utilising Micro Piezo technology as opposed to a thermal or "bubble" system, the print head is capable of controlling the curvature (meniscus) of the upper surface of the ink column at the print head nozzles. This meniscus control technology enables the Epson Stylus Pro 9450 to deliver sharp, accurately placed spherical ink droplets on to the print media.
With accurate ink placement comes the ability to create prints that exhibit detail so fine that it exceeds the quality delivered by more expensive printing devices.
