Two Types of Black Ink
The standard Photo Quality ink set (7-color) contains two different types of black ink. This allows you to easily choose between Photo Black ink for standard prints on glossy paper and Matte Black ink for prints on matte paper requiring maximum black density. The Epson Stylus PRO 4000 automatically selects the appropriate black ink depending on the type of media chosen in the print menu.
