Enhanced Tonal Range
By using light black, the range of shades in monochrome images and dark areas are significantly enhanced, which cannot be achieved by the single black ink system. In addition, for the dark areas, the use of light black in place of cyan, magenta and black enables the reproduction of subtle gradations while virtually eliminating visible grain.
