Epson simplifies Photo printing with the advanced Epson STYLUS Photo 935 Colour Inkjet Printer

May 2003

Sydney Monday May 26th - Epson has launched the Epson STYLUS PHOTO 935 - an advanced colour inkjet with a range of features and a level of simplicity that is simply astounding.

The STYLUS PHOTO 935 is the first printer in Australia to support Bluetooth(TM) printing direct from Bluetooth enabled Digital Still Cameras. Currently the Sony Cybershot DSCFX77 is supported by the STYLUS PHOTO 935.

Printing your favourite images is easy with the Epson STYLUS PHOTO 935. Simply stand within 10 meters of the printer, select the image you want to print and select the camera's print function. As if by magic, your photo is reproduced on the Epson STYLUS PHOTO 935. No cables, no complicated software, no need to power up your PC. Just select and print.

Connectability and ease of use are the key with Epson STYLUS PHOTO 935. It supports no less than 6 different memory card formats including; SD Memory Card, CompactFlash(R), SmartMedia(TM), Memory Stick, MultiMediaCard and IBM Microdrive(TM) cards. All of which will plug directly into the slots on the front of the 935. The Epson Stylus Photo 935 also supports USB Direct Print to allow printing from USB Direct Print equipped DSCs without the need for a PC.

The STYLUS PHOTO 935 allows direct connection of a range of supported USB ZIP and CD-R drives. Images can then be printed directly from the CD or ZIP disk, and can even be saved from the printer's card slot direct to the ZIP or CD-R drive. It's all done simply, using an easy to follow menu on the LCD control panel on the STYLUS PHOTO 935. See www.epson.com.au for a list of supported CD-R and ZIP drives.

Enthusiasts have not been forgotten. The STYLUS PHOTO 935 ships with a comprehensive suit of image manipulation software including PRINT Image Framer to add a frame around your image, PIF Designer to create your own frame, and Sanyo Panorama Stitcher Light that allows you take two or more photos and make a single panorama image. Then simply load a roll of Epson Premium Glossy Photo Paper onto the standard roll paper holder and print. The standard auto cutter will cut the paper automatically at the end of your panorama photo.

The Epson STYLUS PHOTO 935 enjoys Epson's market leading imaging technologies. The Epson Intellidge(TM) Ink System monitors ink levels in your ink cartridges and allows you to swap out your ink cartridge when you need a lot of ink for a big print job, and replace it and use the remaining ink for a smaller job at a later time. The Epson PerfectPicture(TM) Imaging System combines the Epson MicroPiezo print head and it's ability to fire ink droplets as small as a 4 pico-litres, Epson's quality photo papers, Epson's QuickDry Genuine inks and Epson's Acuphoto Halftoning software. The key to high quality photos is a correct match between paper, printer and ink, and the right software to maximise the colours printed on page. Epson's PerfectPicture Imaging system means perfect results every time.

At 5760 optimised DPI using Resolution Performance Management technology and standard six colours Intellidge Ink System, the quality of the photos produced by the STYLUS PHOTO 935 are simply awesome. Roll paper holder and auto cutter are included as standard on the STYLUS PHOTO 935 and it has a USB interface as standard and an optional Bluetooth interface available for wireless printing.

The Epson STYLUS PHOTO 935 is available now and has a suggested sales price of $699 inc GST.
