Sydney, 1 September 2005: Epson Australia has released the Epson AcuLaser C4200DN colour laser printer, designed for high volume, office network environments where reliability, quality and speed are essential.
With innovations and design based on Epson's record as a world leader in reliable digital colour image management, the AcuLaser C4200DN will increase the productivity of workgroups in any office.
The AcuLaser C4200DN has a superior print speed of 35ppm (pages per minute) in monochrome, 25ppm in colour and a FPOT of 10.5 seconds (A4 mono), using Epson's Quadra Beam Engine technology which processes all four print colours at the same time, meeting high volume printing needs in busy work places.
The AcuLaser C4200DN has a standard 550-sheet tray, a 150-sheet multi purpose tray and optional 550-sheet cassette to support long and complex print jobs. Duplex is standard for double sided printing.
Epson's AcuLaser Colour RIT (Resolution Improvement Technology) eliminates dotted or jagged edges in colour text, for professional looking, high quality document printing allowing high speed printing without compromising on performance with a print resolution of 4800dpi.
Using Epson AcuLaser Intelligent Line Screening Technology, the AcuLaser C4200DN can recognise individual photographic images, text and line drawings and automatically adjust print settings to deliver beautiful, accurate prints.
The AcuLaser C4200DN uses Epson's AcuBrite toner. The uniform particle size and highly stable electrostatic properties of AcuBrite toner ensures the C4200DN produces high-resolution laser prints in vibrant colour.
For connectivity during high performance printing in business workgroups, the Epson AcuLaser C4200DN includes a Hi-Speed USB (2.0) interface and is network ready with 10/100BaseTX Ethernet interface as standard.
The AcuLaser C4200DN can be managed remotely with a range of bundled Web-based network management tools including EpsonNet WebManager for system administrators to monitor consumable levels, troubleshooting and provide views of print logs.
When configured with the optional 20GB hard disk drive, the AcuLaser C4200DN delivers advanced job management, with functions such as confidential printing, job storage, reprint and verification.
