Epson focuses on outstanding photography at PMA 2011

Sydney, 22 June 2011: Epson has award winning photographers as guest speakers and a large and diverse range of photographic papers, printers, projectors, and scanners working and on display at PMA 2011 Imaging & Entertainment Expo in Sydney next weekend.

The Epson stand will also feature the first Australian release of Epson’s Hot Press Fine Art papers for professional photographers, fine artists and print reproducers.

The Epson Hot Press range includes Epson Hot Press Bright - a smooth paper with a bright white point, Hot Press Natural – a smooth paper with a warm white point, Cold Press Bright – a textured paper with a bright white point, and Cold Press Natural – a textured paper with a warm white point, all in roll and cut sheet formats.

Award winning photographers Marcus Bell (Friday 24th 11.30-12.30), David Oliver (Friday 24th 1.30-2.30 and Saturday 25th 3-4pm), Tony Hewitt (Saturday 25th 4.30-5pm), and Rocco Ancora (Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th 11.30-12.30) are Epson ambassadors and will be speaking about their work on the Epson stand at various times throughout the three day event.

Epson is also sponsoring the address by Tony Hewitt in the Huddle with the Greats series of talks by leading professional photographers at the conference on Friday 24th 2-3pm.

Epson is a sponsor of the PMA conference program, and has provided an Epson EB-G5750WUNL large venue projector for the theatrette where the Huddle with the Greats series of talks by leading professional photographers will be held on Friday 24th.

Epson is also sponsoring the Gallery of images, a regular feature of PMA shows. The Epson photo gallery will display the winning image and runner-up in the Epson International Pano Awards.

On its stand Epson will feature the latest photo printers - the Epson Stylus® Pro R3000 and R2000, the enduringly popular Epson Stylus® Photo R2880, the Artisan 835 multifunction printer, and the Perfection V700 Photo scanner.

Epson business equipment on display will include the Epson Discproducer for copying, burning and printing multiple CDs/DVDs, and the WorkForce 840 office multifunction printer.

Reflecting Epson’s dominance of the large format inkjet printing market for professional photographers and fine artists, the stand will feature the eight colour Epson Stylus® Pro 3880 and ten colour 4900 A2 format printers, the eight colour Epson Stylus® Pro 7890 A1 format printer, the ten colour Epson Stylus® Pro 9900 44 inch printer, and the Epson Stylus® Pro 11880 64 inch printer.

As the global market leader in projectors the Epson stand will display the latest from Epson’s range for home, business and education: the top of the range HD Epson EH-TW5500 Home Theatre Projector with a contrast ratio of 200,000:1, the entry level HD Epson EH-TW3600 Home Theatre Projector, the thinnest 3,000 lumen projector in the world the Epson EB-1775W, and the EB-1925W corporate Multimedia Projector.
