How Do I?

Q23. How do I print a photo?
Do the following:

   1. Connect your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch to your wireless network.

   2. Open the app.

   3. Tap the Photos icon, and then select the album that contains the photo you would like to print. Tap the photo to select it.

   4. If your printer is selected, tap Print. If your product is not selected, tap , select your product, then tap Print.

 

Q24. How do I save my scan?

A24. After you scan your document/photo, tap Save, then select a location to save the file.

Q25. How do I save my scanned files to an online storage service?

A25. Do the following:

Note: You'll need to have an an online storage service setup before you can save a file to it. Evernote, Dropbox, or Box.net are supported services.

   1. Open the app.

   2. Tap Scan.

   3. Tap Scan, then tap Save.

   4. Select Evernote, Dropbox, or Box.net.

Q26. How do I use my product's automatic document feeder (ADF) to scan?

Solving Problems

Q28. Some of my Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel or Microsoft PowerPoint documents do not print correctly. What should I do?

A28. Sometimes these file types may not display or print correctly, try converting the file to a PDF, then print it.

Q29. The app doesn't detect my scanner. What should I do?

A29. Try the following:

   1. Open the app.

   2. Turn your scanner on (make sure it doesn't indicate an error).

   3. Tap Scan, then tap .

   4. Select your scanner, then tap Done. If you don't see your scanner listed, make sure your mobile device is on the same network as your scanner.

Error Messages

Q30. I get a CD/DVD not set correctly message when I try to print. What should I do?

A30. The app does not support CD/DVD printing. Make sure the CD/DVD tray/cover is closed prior to printing.

Q31. I get a Cassette tray is not installed correctly message when I print. What should I do?

Q31. Install the cassette tray, then press Start on the printer.

Q32. I get a General Error message when I print. What should do?

Q32. Make sure the printer is online.

Q33. I get a Ink cover open message when I print. What should I do?

A33. Make sure the ink cover and/or the scanner is securely closed before printing.

Q34. I get a No Scanner Found, No Printer Found, General Error or Communication Error message when I try to scan. What should I do?

A34. Do the following:

   1. Open the app.

   2. Turn the product on (make sure it doesn't indicate an error and if the product was turned off during printing, cancel the print job).

   3. Tap Scan, then tap .

   4. Select your product, then tap Done. If you don't see your product listed, make sure your mobile device is on the same network as your product.

Q35. I get a Page not printed or Multi-page message when I print. What should I do?

A35. Check the following:

  • Make sure there is no paper jammed in the printer.
  • Make sure the paper is loaded correctly in the printer.
  • Make sure the correct paper size is loaded in the printer.

Q36. I get a Printer Cover message when I print. What should I do?

A36. Make sure all covers on the product are closed before you print. If that doesn't help, contact Epson support.

Q37. I get a Scanner Cover Open or Scanner Unit Open message when I try to scan. What should I do?

A37. Make sure your product's scanner cover is securely closed. If that doesn't help, contact Epson support.

Q38. I get a Service Required message when I print. What should I do?

A38. First check that your printer is operational and will print normally from PC and it has ink. If still unsuccessful, then contact Epson support for assistance.

Q39. I get an Incorrect Paper Size message when I print. What should I do?

A39. Make sure paper is loaded in the printer and make sure the correct paper size is selected in the app.

Q40. I get an Out of memory message when I try to scan. What should I do?

A40. Your device does not have enough memory to store the file. You'll need to free up space on your device to save the file.
