The Epson Stylus CX6900F "More-in-One" offers a value-packed set of features for printing, scanning, copying and faxing.

Sydney, 8th January 2007: Epson has released the Epson Stylus CX6900F "More-in-One", with versatile fax, copy, scan and print solutions for the home and small office. The Stylus CX6900F is the ideal all-rounder, suitable for printing documents such as flyers and school projects right through to home photos. In addition it can scan and copy documents and photos while also giving the convenience of a colour fax.

The Stylus CX6900F uses Epson's DURABrite(TM) Ultra resin-coated pigment ink which increases the durability of prints, making them smudge and water resistant and provides up to 120 years lightfastness on selected Epson papers.

Using four economical individual colour Intellidge(TM) ink cartridges which are only $14.50 each, the Stylus CX6900F alerts users if one or more cartridges are running low allowing them to replace only those colours to ensure they get a completed print.

The Stylus CX6900F has an inbuilt fax with a 33.6K bps modem for immediate transmission and supports the international colour fax standard for colour-to-colour communication. It features a user selectable auto/manual answering mode, auto redial (up to 3 times), and speed dial (up to 60 addresses).

With a resolution of up to 5760 dpi (dots per inch) using Resolution Performance Management technology and 3picolitre ultra fine ink droplets the CX6900F ensures incredible quality and sharp detail in outstanding photo prints.

The Stylus CX6900F features Epson's PhotoEnhance, an automatic scene correction function, which means consumers no longer have to be experts in software manipulation to get the best out of their photographs.

PhotoEnhance identifies whether photographs contain people, faces or landscapes and adjusts the colour balances to produce the optimum print.

With five card slots (xD, Smart Media, Compact Flash and Micro Drive, Memory Stick, SD card and MultiMedia Card), the Stylus CX6900F offers convenient PC-free printing, copying and scanning options.

For further ease of use, the Stylus CX6900F supports PictBridge, a camera industry standard which facilitates fast and effortless PC-free digital printing of high quality photographs directly from your digital camera.

The 1200 x 2400dpi scanner and easy to use copying features mean that the Stylus CX6900F allows users to scan anything from documents to photos with outstanding and speedy results.

The Stylus CX6900F is Macintosh and Windows compatible while also offering Hi-Speed USB 2.0 connectivity.

The Stylus CX6900F can produce 4"x 6" BorderFree(TM) prints and can print at up to 27 A4 pages per minute in monochrome or colour (draft mode).

The Stylus CX6900F "More-in-One" includes Epson Creativity Suite software consisting of Epson File Manager, Scan Assist, Attach to Email, Copy Utility, Easy Photo Print and Web-To-Page for simplified scanning and printing.

The easy to use control panel featured on the Stylus CX6900F adds to the functionality and convenience for home users, small businesses and students requiring professional and high quality documents and photos, all at an affordable price.
