Epson’s high performance low cost boarding pass and baggage tag printer heads a full range of airline and airport printers

Sydney, 31 May 2011: Epson has released a special purpose airline boarding pass and baggage label printer to head its range of business printers suitable for heavy duty airport and airline use.

Featuring Epson’s renowned high performance and reliability coupled with ease of use and low cost of ownership, the Epson TM-L500A has a compact footprint designed for limited space at busy check-in desks and is an easy drop-in replacement for proprietary airline printers.

The TM-L500A supports airline industry standards including AEA 2009 and Windows print commands and is IATA CUSS/CUPPS compliant so it can be used with existing airline applications and new open platform solutions.

It handles large fan-fold or roll media up to 184.1 mm diameter with ease, delivering fast print speeds of up to 200mm/sec.

The rugged TM-L500A is easy to use, easy to maintain and is extremely reliable, and is backed by Epson’s industry-leading worldwide support programs.
