Advanced Wireless Security
To ensure the EMP-1715 provides the best possible fit with today's increasingly wireless environment, the projector has been designed with enterprise–level security features. Among the various security and encryption technologies incorporated within the projector are:
- Wired Equivalent Privacy (WEP) standard encryption scheme
- WiFi Protected Access–PreShared Key (WPA–PSK) security specification, often referred to as WPA "Home", which uses a key of 256 bits in length
- WiFi Protected Access–Extensible Authentication Protocol (WPA–EAP), sometimes referred to as WPA "Enterprise", which offers TLS (Transport Layer Security), TTLS (Tunnelled Transport Layer Security) and PEAP (Protected Extensible Authentication Protocol) connection and authentication methods.
- Lightweight and Efficient Application Protocols (LEAP)
In combination with the EMP-1715's wireless and wired* network connection capabilities, these features ensure the projector meets the requirements of even the most security–conscious enterprise.
