With the conversion to digital moving quickly across the Australian printing industry, Epson has chosen PacPrint13 for the first public showing of its highly versatile short run digital label press SurePress L-4033A.
“It’s time for SurePress to make its Australian trade show debut, given its successes in the field,” said Craig Heckenberg, Business Unit Manager for Epson Australia.
Epson will be running hourly demonstrations of SurePress at PacPrint13 showing its versatility by printing on different ranges of coated and uncoated stocks.
There will also be samples printed by the SurePress L-4033AW with a seven colour AQ ink set including white on substrates such as clear box and metallised box.

“SurePress installations are being driven by the need for better margins and the increasing demand for high-quality customised shorter run label production, so the response to SurePress’s flexibility and quality has been very strong particularly in some specialised areas like wine labelling,” said Craig.
“Digital setup processes are cleaner and quicker, variable content is easily integrated into a the single print run, SurePress gives a go-ahead innovative look to the business, and profit margins are better - the whole business gets a lift when a SurePress is installed.”
