So happy with my Epson ET-2550 refillable inket printer
I love Epson printers - world leaders I believe but changing the ink cartridges -- drove me crazy!
Accidentally found online that they now have printers with refillable bottles - no more replacing cartridges etc.
And, I got free ink which should last a year and an extra year's warranty. So happy :-)

new direction of cheap cost per page printing
I went in to buy a standard cartridge printer and after doing some calculation worked out I would spend roughly $200 in the coming year on cartridge inks. the kids are now both in high school and I am doing more work at home. So I would suggests the $200 in ink would probably end up being $300, yet with the Epsom it came with enough ink for probably 18 months and then refills to last another 18 month would only be $90.
So I will have saved around $500 in ink cartridges over the next 3 years which means in reality it has cost me $100 for a new printer that is also has wifi. so I am very happy with my purchase, plus all the family's apple devices print directly to it which is another massive bonus

The Printer performs well and is up to expectations
The Printer is just fine but I had a little difficulty with the installation process. The documentation does not make it clear that the disc is the primary tool to use for the installation. The disc itself is merely labelled "Software Disc". I had gone through the manual process before I realised what I was doing was wrong. Nevertheless, I got there in the end and the printer works well. I have yet to print Avery Labels which is one of the applications I use. Copy paper works well so I expect the label function to be OK. If ther is a problem, I'll let you know.
