1.    Q: Can I connect my Android device to the projector using a WiFi connection if the projector is set up using Ad hoc mode or Quick Mode?
      A: No, Ad hoc and Quick mode are not supported. You can connect using Infrastructure mode or Advanced mode. You will need to configure your projector in Advanced mode through the Network menu of your projector.

2.    Q. Can I control the projector from my Android device?
     

A: Yes, do the following:

1. Launch iProjection, tap Projector, and select the projector on the network that you would like to display from.

Note: The projector must be turned on for iProjection to locate it.

2. Once you select the projector, you will see a confirmation screen to connect to the projector. Tap OK.


3. Tap Menu. You see the Projector Control icon.

4. Tap Projector Control. You can select the input source and use the control to freeze the projector, mute the video and audio, or modify the volume.

4.    Q: How do I use iProjection with my Android device?
     

A: Do the following:


1. Configure your projector through the Advanced Mode network settings (see your User's Guide for more information on network setup). If the projector is already configured for the network, go to step 2.


2. Press the LAN button on the projector's remote control. You will see the network information (SSID and IP address) displayed.


3. On your Android device, tap Settings, and Wireless & networks, then WiFi.


4. Select the network that your projector was configured to work with. (SSID name from the projector's network information screen)


5. Launch iProjection, tap Projector, and select the projector on the network that you would like to display from.

6. On the next screen, you will see Select Projector with a check in the box next to the projector that was selected. Tap the button.


7. Select Photos to view your JPG/JPEG files from your gallery. Select Documents to view your PDF files from your Downloads folder (or the folder where your files are stored). Select Web Page to display web pages.


8. You can use the pen tool to annotate photos, documents, or web pages that you are currently projecting.

5.    Q:I don't have the optional wireless module for my projector, can I still use iProjection?
      A: Yes, you can still use iProjection if your network supports wired and wireless connections and your projector has a RJ45 LAN port. Follow the steps below to set it up:

1. Connect your projector with a RJ45 connection to your network.


2. Connect your Android device with a wireless connection to the same network your projector is connected to.


3. On your Android device, tap iProjection, then tap Projector.

6.    Q:How do I open and view my email attachment on my Android device using iProjection?
      A: Do the following:

1. On your Android device, open your email attachment (PDF, JPG, or PNG files only).


2. Tap View.

3. You will see the screen below. Tap iProjection.

      A: No, iProjection doesn't support multi display or displaying on more than one projector at a time.

      A: Open iProjection and the image you want to mark and do the following:

1. Tap the pen icon.


2. Tap Menu, if necessary, then Settings on your device.


3. Select a pen to configure, then choose the Color, Width and Opaque below Transparency.

4. Tap the button when you're done.

10.  Q:How do I move images to iProjection's Photo option?
      A: The photos need to be stored in the Gallery app on your Android device. iProjection will pull the .png or .jpg images from the Gallery app.
