Mieke Boynton

I feel it's kind of a dance between the photographer and nature. You can be rewarded as a photographer for persevering. It's not going to be great every time. That's part of the joy of when it does show itself off to you.

Mieke Boynton is an Internationally-acclaimed landscape and aerial photographer. Her distinctive abstracts are taken from chartered helicopters and light planes, flying over some of the most remote and fascinating areas of Australia, Iceland and New Zealand, and her landscape photographs from all over the world celebrate the breath-taking beauty of nature.

Mieke became a full time professional landscape photographer in 2018. In 2019, she was awarded the title of AIPP Victorian Landscape Photographer of the Year and in 2021, she was named NZIPP International Photographer of the Year. She was the first Australian and first woman to have won the prestigious Epson International Pano Awards, with three of her abstract aerial photographs receiving Gold Awards in 2019.
