A very efficient copier
The Epson XP-8500 is an efficient copier with clearly displayed instructions. The printed photos are of great quality which is what we were looking for in a new printer

Works ok once you clear our the production rubbish
Got this printer finally working, but set up takes some time, and particularly when there is some stuff from the production left in the cartridge tray that then doesn't allow you to install the cartridges properly. It was a small, black piece of plastic in the bottom corner of the moving tray where the cartridges have to be installed. Because of that, the cartridges just didn't want to 'click' in, and it was only after checking several instructions on-line etc. that I finally felt that bit with my fingers and removed it (it was impossible to see as it was black in the corner of the black tray).
WiFi connection was quite easy to set up, also from tablet/phone, although that iOS app isn't really up to scratch, seems lots of bugs still!
Overall good value given the $100 cash back, but filling in that form and the whole procedure is another story...! Clearly aimed to be as complicated and annoying as possible so that then maybe you give up on the cash back, but not me! Sales person told us that only 40% are actually claimed, so make sure you get it if you're entitled!
