I have upgraded from an XP-600 and the extra features are what I want
The motorised print output tray is excellent, new LCD menu & messages and the other features of the XP-710 are just what I need.
I was disappointed however with the setup and installation process. Not at all user friendly and left a lot to the imagination to provide the answers for installation. I consider that a brief set up manual should be provided as well as the sketchy "guide" provided in the box. For example the "guide" did not specify when to connect power and was limited in informing a new user of what to do next at various stages of installation.

This product is very reliable
I have had epson printers since 2009 and have found the printers to be reliable and efficient - the overall print quality is excellent and the diversity of features extremely useful. The LED features are very easy to see and understand and use especially for an older person and problems such as paper jams are easy to release. Overall I am extremely pleased with the value for money that epson printers give the customer

Very good printer and lots of features
Set up was easy, though i had a little trouble understanding the tray setup until I downloaded the excellent manual.
