Good for business and pleasure
I purchased an EHTW6600W based on advice from a professional audio visual consultant that surveyed my media room and subsequently installed the projector and a new sound system and am very happy with the cinema experience. Picture quality is much better than I expected and I can connect from all devices including my computer and phone. Problem is other people are envious!

Excellent brightness
I purchased the Epson projector based on online reviews. The room we planned on using the projector isn't very dark and has three large windows with roller blinds. Most reviews suggested getting the brightest projector available.
The Epson 6600W has 2500 lumens which most reviewers said was adequate. After about a weeks’ worth of use I’m really happy with this purchase. We have used the projector during the day and at night with the lights on in the back half of the room and have no complaints. This is with projecting directly onto a matt white wall! The 3D glasses are really great. We watched "Life of Pi" in the cinemas as 3D and when we watched the same movie at home as a 3d Blu-ray we were blown away by the quality and brightness of the picture.
We had planned to purchase a large tv in case the project was not up to the mark. However after a week, we cannot see ourselves buying and mounting a TV on the wall.

Amazing wireless technology
I was first of all amazed at the ease of set-up, but the real bonus was how the HDMI Wireless transmitter helped get rid of so many wires! Projecting from a PC, I was wireless to an entertainment hub which was connected to the sound equipment. Then by connecting the HDMI Wireless transmitter to the sound equipment, the picture was carried to the projector.. I use this set-up in a small theatre type situation for making presentations, and it's great not to have to worry about trailing wires.

Great choice for an update
Updated to a 1080P Epson TW6600 from an XGA projector.
Such a huge difference in picture quality.
Good contrast & saturation & great brightness (2500 ansi lumens)
Easy to set up - lens shift makes it simple
Great picture quality
Solid feel to casing
I was tossing up between DLP or LCD technology - I am more than happy with my decision
I would certainly recommend this projector
