Excellent projector with many outstanding features for a reasonable price
Epson EH-TW9200W is an example of a projector where you do not have to pay big bucks to get an outstanding picture.
The full HD LCD projector has a number of outstanding features. I have been using this projector for a month now (though I have used LCD projectors for over 10 years, not Epson).
Picture Quality:
The projector has several colour modes. THX is outstanding out of the box and does not appear to need any major adjustmnets. Dynamic and Living Room are very bright and very suitable for watching during day time. The projector is so bright that it is almost like a LCD TV. You can also customise the controls and save it in memory.
For me, the highlight was the contrast and the black levels. Watching a fairly dark movie like Dark Knight shows how superior the contrast level and blacks are.
Several adjustments like auto Iris, frame interpolation, super resolution provide some minor enhancements.
The projector is easy to install with good zoom and vertical and horizontal shifts.
Wireless connection works like a charm, though takes a bit of time to get connected. I did not notice any frequent drop outs or drop in quality.
With the lamp in high mode, the noise is noticable, the auto iris also makes a growling noise that can be distracting in quiet scenes. I did not notice any major screen door effect sitting about 5 meters from 120 inch screen.
3D is very realstic and bright. However, 2D to 3D conversion was not very impressive.
All in all a fantastic projector with many outstanding features.

Great picture clarity
Fantastic projector - we are not experts in the field of technology but found setting up of the projector easy and simple to use. Picture quality is great. We have only had it a couple of weeks so far but are more than happy with it. Would definitely recommend it.

I would recommend to buy
Over all i very happy with the Epson EH-TW9200W which i have it projecting onto a 120 inch screen.
I use this more than 42inch lcd led Tv now to watch Tv & movies.
My only problem i had with it was the wireless HDMI dropping in & out untill i found i good spot to sit it on my 740mm high cabinet.
I still need to prob up the sender box on a better angle to stop the drop outs to my ceiling mounted projector & if i stand right infront of the sender box it will drop out.
I do have a smart meter near by the sender box not to sure if that was causing the problem.
Over all good now & i would recommend buying a Epson EH-TW9200W.

Very happy with good quality projector
Generally I am very happy with the projector.
The image quality is fantastic both for 2D and 3D operation.
I keep the unit set to THX mode for 2D and 3D and find the brightness very good. If I need extra brightness for (daytime use etc.) then the Dynamic or Lounge room setting adds around 40% brightness which is generally to bright for a dark room. Even when set to Dynamic or Lounge Room mode the picture quality is excellent.
The black levels are also excellent in all operating modes.
I would say that the operation of the image shift correction should be improved as it is a little jerky, but once it is set, there is no need to alter it.
Also, the focus does seem to change a little depending on the operating time of the unit. Nothing major, but worth a mention.
Very happy with the unit, and as long as reliability is good (I am looking at the four year + mark) then I would certainly buy another one.
I do not use the wireless HD transmitter in favour of a cable, but I have tested this and it does work well including the ability to switch and preview the various HDMI inputs.
