great easy to set up and use
I wanted somrthing simple to scan 120000 old photos.
This is really easy to use and has been easy to set up and start scanning all my photos to my I photo library.

For the price, the scanner has great features.
10 years ago we bought an Epson scanner and was reasonably pleased with the result. After several years of intense use, we decided to purchase an updated machine of another brand. That was a disappointment. Recently we decided to return to Epson and the different and upmarket features we found on the new scanner was astounding. What advances in 10 years.
Using the scanner semi-professionally, I look forward to a much wider and comprehensive application, so much so, perhaps we should have bought an up-market model - will do later. Wished we had known about the "slide" feature prior to purchase. Sadly not the best advice from the retailer. In the meantime, I will have professional fun with this one.

Have always found Epson to be of high quality and to perform in a reliable manner with ease of use and set up, would recommend.
