You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the Products repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Terms & Conditions

The following conditions are applicable if you have purchased a On-Site Epson CoverPlus for any of the following Product:

  • Epson WorkForce Enterprise WF-C17590, WF-C205090, WF-C20600, WF-C20750, WF-C21000, or WF-M20590 (“main unit”) & related options (Finisher/Bridge & High Capacity Unit)

  1. This Epson CoverPlus service pack provides next business day on-site service & support coverage for the Product subject to the conditions as detailed below from the date when the Epson Australia standard 12 month warranty period has expired or 200,000 A4 pages maximum print volume has been reached, whichever comes first.
  2. Epson CoverPlus service packs are available for purchase in 200,000 or 300,000 or 500,000 or 750,000 A4 page print volume service packs from an Epson Australia Authorised Dealer or at https://www.epson.com.au/shoponline/coverplus/findyourplan.asp.
  3. The initial CoverPlus service pack can only be purchased during the currency of the standard warranty period being either 12 months from the purchase date of the main unit, or 6 months in the case of factory seconds / refurbished units or 200,000 A4 pages maximum print volume, whichever comes first.
  4. Further Coverplus service packs can be purchased if the print volume limit under an existing service pack has been reached.
  5. All Coverplus service packs will expire at the end of 5 years from purchase date of the main unit, regardless of whether the additional print volume limit under the current Coverplus service pack has been reached.
  6. Epson CoverPlus applies to a Product sold by Epson Australia or by an Authorised Dealer
  7. Epson CoverPlus service packs includes all parts (including print head) and labour either for a relevant period of up to 5 years or until the maximum print volume for the relevant service pack has been reached, whichever comes first.
  8. Epson CoverPlus service packs also cover preventative maintenance and periodical replacement of the parts listed in Schedule 1 that is required during the term of the relevant service pack or until the maximum print volume has been reached, whichever comes first.
  9. CoverPlus coverage includes dedicated unlimited technical phone & email support.
  10. Coverplus also provides phone response within 4 business hours after Epson is contacted by an Authorised Dealer or end user requesting a Coverplus service.
  11. Epson CoverPlus will apply to Products located within a radius of 50kms from the General Post Office in the following Australian cities:-
  • Sydney
  • Melbourne
  • Brisbane
  • Adelaide
  • Canberra
  • Perth
  1. Reasonable travel and accommodation charges for the Authorised Service Agent will apply if Coverplus service is required for a Product located outside the radius limitations in clause 11.
  2. A CoverPlus service pack can be transferred in case of only one sale of the main unit by the original end user subject to Epson Australia being notified in writing of the transfer date and transferee details.
  3. At the start date of a CoverPlus service pack, customer must provide Epson Australia with the page count for the main unit.
  4. The end user will be requested to provide a print volume page count prior to an Authorised Service Agent’s onsite attendance or as and when requested by Epson Australia
  5. In case of an established Product failure that occurs during the CoverPlus coverage period, Epson Australia, at its complete discretion, will either repair or replace the Product
  6. In the event that Epson chooses to replace a Product under a CoverPlus service pack, only the unexpired balance of the period or remaining print volume limit of the relevant Coverplus service pack for the original Product will apply to the replacement Product.

Epson CoverPlus Exclusions:

Coverage under On-Site Epson CoverPlus will not apply if any of the following occurs during the applicable period:

  1. Epson CoverPlus is not applicable to other Epson product accessories or consumables
  2. Epson CoverPlus service cannot be used in conjunction with or to extend the term of any third party warranty agreement or service agreement offered in relation to the Product.
  3. Use of non-genuine Epson consumables may void the CoverPlus service pack
  4. If a Service Agent provides On-Site support or service but finds that the main unit has reached or exceeded the print volume limit under existing CoverPlus service pack, the customer must pay its current service fee and its reasonable travel and accommodation costs on a return basis (if applicable)
  5. If a Service Agent provides On-Site support or service but finds that any fault is otherwise not covered by the Coverplus service pack, the customer must pay its current service fee and its reasonable travel and accommodation costs on a return basis (if applicable)
  6. Any consequential loss or damage claimed to arise from use of the Product is not covered under a Coverplus service pack. In particular (but without limitation) Epson Australia will not be liable for actual or expected revenue loss or for any corruption or loss of data claimed to arise from use of the Product
  7. Coverage under Epson CoverPlus will not apply if any of the following events occur:
  1. A Product's serial number or any rating label is removed or changed in any way;
  2. A Product is serviced or repaired or modified by anyone other than by a Service Agent;
  3. You use a Product contrary to the technical or operating environment guidelines recommended in the Epson Australia user guide or manual;
  4. A Product's malfunction or failure to perform according to Epson Australia's specifications results from:
  1. Deliberate or accidental damage;
  2. Neglect or modification by or on behalf of an End User;
  3. The use of incorrect voltage or a power surge;
  4. Any form of computer virus;
  5. The use of non-Genuine consumables, software, replacement parts, accessories and/or interfacing; or
  6. Any parts require repair or replacement as a result of normal wear and tear, corrosion or stain.

Epson CoverPlus Claim Process:

  1. Customers calls the Epson support center at 1300-361-054.
  2. Customer will be asked to provide the products serial number and Epson CoverPlus ID at the time of the call.
  3. Call Centre Agent will assess the reported problem and may be escalate it within Epson Australia for further assessment.
  4. If Epson Australia determines that an On-Site service is required, an Authorised Service Agent will contact the End User and will attend the End User’s premises on next business day or on an alternative date if that next day is not suitable or feasible.

Non-Genuine Items

If you use non-Genuine Consumables, software, replacement parts or accessories in or with your Product during the relevant coverage period, you may damage the Product and may consequently invalidate this service product and you may incur the cost of return travel, labour and parts for a Service Agent to repair or attempt to repair such damage.
