Superior 1024 x 768 XGA Image Quality
Power presenters typically use high-resolution notebook or desktop computers with image-intensive software to project graphics, photographs, X-ray images, animation and engineering designs. Epson has dramatically improved the brightness and image quality with the EMP-7300 making it ideal for power presentations.
Newly added technology includes a new lamp reflector design and interior lenses to improve the internal optics. The internal masking within the LCD reduces the amount of light that bleeds from one pixel to the next, and a newly designed zoom lens with faster optical elements project more light onto the screen.
The result of this state-of-the-art combination is better image quality with a super bright image in a portable multimedia projector, an astonishing 1200 ANSI lumens from a 120 watt UHE lamp for an unbelievable 10 lumens per watt!
High Performance LCDs
Aside from resolution, major identifiers of projector image quality are colour saturation, contrast ratio and illumination uniformity. The EMP-7300 uses three Poly-Silicon LCDs each with 1024 x 768 pixels: one LCD for red, one for blue and one for green. So for every image that is sent through the projector, almost 2.4 million pixels are used to create the final dazzling output.
Simultaneous Presentations
With many professionals now called upon to produce joint presentations with colleagues or co-vendors, the EMP-7300 includes two computer inputs and two mouse ports for use on either Windows or Mac platforms.
In the event that simultaneous presenters are using two different computer platforms, the EMP-7300 allows switching between computers seamlessly, with the quick touch of a button. It also automatically distinguishes between PAL, SECAM and NTSC video.
Advanced Image real-time Resizing (AIrR)
EPSON's own AIrR technology gives the EMP-7300 an unprecedented range of versatility; the projector accepts every major notebook resolution. And, with Epson's AIrR technology, the EMP-7300 transforms SXGA (1280 x 1024) images from desktops and workstations to native XGA with virtually no picture content loss.
AIrR also converts SVGA and VGA to XGA, for those times when you want to use different resolutions. You can either resize images to true XGA with virtually no image loss or skew, or project standard SVGA or VGA with a letterbox border around the edge.
Ease of Use
The EMP-7300 is straightforward in form and function with new simple menus that allow presenters to get up-and-running quickly and easily. And, for actively presenting on stage or from anywhere in a room, the infrared remote device provides added control and flexibility.
