Great printer, easy to use and good quality colour prints
I am a teacher and was looking for a good quality printer that will be easy to use at home. Epson Tank has exceeded my expectations. The ink cartridges are easy to use and the quality of prints is great. Used it a lot so far and I can barely see the ink levels going down. Price was a bit high for my budget but thought I would save in the long run with the ink cartridges. One year warranty plus another year if you register online definitely helped make my decision.

A good printer, but....
This printer is a good option for those wanting cost effective, low maintenance printing. The cartridges are so cheap to buy and the quality of the printing is fine for day to day use. However, the nozzles and heads seem to require constant adjusting or alignment which affects the printing quality. Nothing to be overly concerned with if you are comfortable setting the printer up to do it's alignments etc. but it is a little annoying.
However, if you are hoping to use this printer's scanning function you will be disappointed. The quality of the scan is excellent...if you can get it to scan documents without jamming. The scanning speed is excruciatingly slow and does tend to struggle with more than 3 pages.
In summary, if you are using this printer for cheap, daily printing it's fine, however if you want a sophisticated and fast machine it's not your best option.

Ink Tanks a Great Feature
Refillable Ink Tanks are better for the environment and better replacement cost.

Great but can't print double sided with a mac
The overall set up of the printer is great although it seems unfair that only windows computers are able to print double sided. As the price of the printer is so high it you would think that double sided printing would be a basic feature.
