Epson Stylus Photo 1270

6 Colour Inkjet Printer

Professional Photo-Image Quality.

With A3+, 6-colour printing at 1440 dpi - and the incredible precision of 4 pl (picolitre) Ultra Micro Dots - you know you're going to get great-looking prints. The Epson Stylus Photo 1270 takes things a step further, teaming our exclusive Variable-Sized Droplet technology with a new version of AcuPhoto Halftoning™. The result is an entirely new standard of colour fidelity and image quality, with delicately rendered blends and gradations that make your printouts indistinguishable from photographs.

Lightfast Prints

Our exclusive QuickDry™ inks have been reformulated to assure even more vivid and true-to-life colour than before. And when you print on our new resin-coated Epson Premium Glossy Photo Paper, they deliver lightfastness that extends the life of your prints for over 10 years. (Click here for the Lightfastness Test Criteria). For gallery-ready professional output, it's an advantage that's hard to beat.

High-Speed Throughput

The Epson STYLUS PHOTO 1270 offers high-speed bi-directional printing in all print modes.

Variable-Sized Droplet technology maintains an optimum balance between speed and image quality by using larger dot sizes for solid colours, and smaller dot sizes for gradations and blends. The result is an uninterrupted work flow that lets you be more creative.

Borderless, Edge to Edge Printing1

The Epson STYLUS PHOTO 1270 features yet another major printing innovation - full-bleed printing on Epson 100mm Premium Glossy Photo Paper.1

What's more, it comes with software that lets you produce up to 10 identical prints at a time, speeding your workflow and helping to ensure consistent colour when printing multiple copies.

New Intellidge Ink Cartridges

New Intellidge™ ink cartridges ensure accurate ink level display via our Status Monitor 3 - even when partially used cartridges are removed and reinserted. So you can insert fresh cartridges for big, important printing jobs, and then switch back to the partially used cartridges later. The result is more efficient ink usage, with worry-free operation when you need it most.

Outstanding Ease-of-Use

Our full-featured driver software with PhotoEnhance 4 makes it easy to choose print layouts and watermarks, and enhance low-resolution images downloaded from digital cameras or the internet. For enhanced creativity, PhotoEnhance 4 also offers five Tone settings (Monochrome, Normal, Hard, Vivid and Sepia) and five Effect settings (Sharpness, Soft Focus, Canvas, Parchment and None). And to top it off, we include advanced new software for full-bleed printing, multi-copy reprints, banner printing and much, much more.

Plug-and-Play Setup Ease

USB connectivity provides plug-and-play support for Windows® 95/98/2000 operating environments and Mac® OS 8.1 to 9.X.

1 Full-bleed printing requires roll-type Epson Premium Glossy Photo Paper (100mm x 8m) and Roll Paper Holder.

2 Lightfastness rating is developed and conducted by Epson using accelerated testing of prints on specialty media, under fluorescent light (indoor display conditions) with glass mount.

Temperature, humidity and some atmospheric gases may also affect the rate of fading. The estimated lightfastness period does not indicate the colour changing or the durability of the paper itself. Epson does not guarantee longevity of prints. Epson recommends that your prints be stored in a photo album (or plastic photo storage box) or in appropriate sleeves commonly available from most camera shops.
