Saves time and money on printing costs

SYDNEY, 25 October 2016 – Australia's largest independently owned bookbinder and printfinisher, Marvel Bookbinding & Printfinishing, recently made the decision to take its in-house business printing solution to the next level with its adoption of the Epson WorkForce Pro WF-R8590TC Replaceable Ink Pack System (RIPS) printing solution.

Marvel Binding Chief Financial Officer Lea Robinson explained, “This really was a very easy decision to make. The Epson WorkForce Pro WF-R8590TC RIPS printing solution met our requirements and the price was right so this meant we could purchase the printers outright. More than that the quality was very good, reliability was high and the quality was consistent with no click charge.”

Epson’s WorkForce Pro WF-R8590TC workgroup printers enable Marvel Binding’s offices to benefit from the increased productivity of a local distributed print fleet that requires minimal intervention while providing predictable print costs. The company can now print up to 75,000 pages in black or 75,000 pages in colour per printer without replacing the ink thanks to the printers’ super-high-yield ink supply units. The supply units are low intervention and virtually eliminate time wasting interruptions. Supplies management is made simple and supplies waste is greatly reduced, thereby resulting in lower IT support costs.

Robinson continued, “The quality of the printers’ output, especially when printing photos is exceptional. We knew we did not have to look for any other alternatives once we found the WorkForce Pro WF-R8590TC as we were so impressed and as I said, they perfectly met our requirements.”
