Epson, leaders in the world of professional photography

August 2006


Sydney 11 August 2006: Ric Syme, won the 2006 WA Professional Photographer of the Year Award at the recent AIPP Western Australia Awards, sponsored by Epson.
Ric said he used Epson's Stylus Pro 7600 and Stylus Photo R2400 to produce his winning images. Ric started using Epson products when he switched to digital workflow six years ago and said that benefits of digital photography are endless, especially combined with Epson's inkjet technology.



"Epson's dedication to excellence in photographic and fine art print making is demonstrated not only by its drive to deliver market leading products such as UltraChrome K3 Ink, but its ongoing support and sponsorship of events such as the AIPP Western Australia Awards," Epson's Business Manager Pro Graphics, Craig Heckenberg said.

Along with the major award, WA Epson Photographer of the Year, Ric, a photographer for 30 years managed to grab a total of five awards including, Wedding Photographer of the Year, Best Individual Print Award for the category of Wedding and the Print Handlers Award.
