Back catalogue – Epson EMP-7000
Introducing the world's first portable high-performance XGA resolution projector - the Epson EMP-7000. The EMP-7000 redefines portable high-resolution projection by providing superior image quality in a small, lightweight unit. With 400 ANSI lumens bursting from the 6.6kg projector, the EMP-7000 gives you the power to create.
EPSON's own patented SizeWise technology gives the EMP-7000 an unprecedented range of versatility; it accepts every major notebook resolution - even 1280 x 1024 (SXGA), which becomes available in 1998. SizeWise re-sizes SVGA and VGA to XGA, for those times when you want to use different resolutions.
The EMP-7000 includes two computer inputs and two mouse ports for use on either Windows® or Macintosh® platforms. When using two different platform notebooks, the EMP-7000 allows switching between computers, with the touch of a button. And, will also automatically distinguish between PCs and Macs, as well as PAL, SECAM and NTSC video inputs. In addition, it can also be connected to a video source such as a VCR, laser disc player, camcorder or digital camera.
The 3D sound system in the EMP-7000 adds a powerful punch to any multimedia presentation by giving the aural illusion of a three-dimensional sound field. And, if security is a major consideration, the EMP-7000 has a Kensington lock receptacle. This secures the projector to a designated location when used with an existing Kensington lock. The projector then becomes permanent or portable, depending on users' needs.
The EMP-7000 is the world's first portable XGA multimedia projector and continues Epson's paradigm of offering a combination of the smallest, lightest, brightest multimedia projector in its class.
