Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fast scanner It scans very fast, and I am overall happy, and would buy it again. In particular the document feeder works well, and separates pages reliably. Also the ability to link documents from different sources (on scanner, ADF single sided, ADF double sided) works well for me as I often scan mixed documents. There are few things worth noting about the scanning software: (1) You cannot work on other things on windows during scanning/conversion as suddenly a modal window pops up in the foreground and if you type anything you 'cancel' the current conversion process. I used to edit other documents/do emails whilst scanning. This is not possible (2) Scanning mixed color/greyscale documents will screw up your PDF. If you scan a mixed document, e.g. first page greyscale, next page color into a PDF, the color page is not legible in your PDF. If you scan everything in color it works fine. (3) You cannot start scanning the next document whilst the OCR is still in progress, slowing productivity.
