Epson & the Energy Efficiency Council
As part of its local environmental activities, Epson Australia partnered with the Energy Efficiency Council from 2018 to 2025. This collaboration supported shared goals around improving energy efficiency and advancing sustainability within the ICT sector.
The partnership underscores Epson's continued commitment to sustainability and energy efficient technologies and seeks to promote their accelerated adoption by Australian businesses for the transition to a more sustainable society.
The Energy Efficiency Council
The Energy Efficiency Council is a not-for-profit membership association for businesses, universities, governments and NGOs. Founded in 2009, the Council's members are diverse, but are united by the common cause of a healthier, more productive and more sustainable Australia.
"Printers and copiers account for the largest power draw of any single device after computers and servers. If a business is looking to reduce its OpEx and improve its environmental footprint, it's a no brainer to invest in inkjet printers when they use 90% less electricity than laser printers."
