The Epson DFX-8000 prints incredibly fast at 1066 Cps in High Speed Draft. This is due to a printhead design consisting of 9 pin x 2 rows to give a total of 18 pins.
The Epson DFX-8000 offers high throughput per 136 character lines.
The DFX-8000 has a number of features which enhance its paper handling. These include: two built-in push tractors which enable switching between types of continuous paper. The paper memory and width detection features make it possible to print on a wide variety of forms, eg. paper with a label on a portion of it.
Higher quality printing on multi-part forms when using draft mode.
