The Epson DFX-8000 is an advanced dot matrix printer designed for the most demanding business applications. It combines exceptionally fast wide carriage printing, sophisticated paper handling and Epson's reputation for reliable, high performance dot matrix printers.
The Epson DFX-8000 prints incredibly fast at 1066 Cps in High Speed Draft. This is due to a printhead design consisting of 9 pin x 2 rows to give a total of 18 pins.
The Epson DFX-8000 offers high throughput per 136 character lines.
The DFX-8000 has a number of features which enhance its paper handling. These include: two built-in push tractors which enable switching between types of continuous paper. The paper memory and width detection features make it possible to print on a wide variety of forms, eg. paper with a label on a portion of it.
Higher quality printing on multi-part forms when using draft mode.
