In today's competitive world, time is money. And when it comes to saving time, the FX-2170 has no rival. In super draft mode, it boasts an output speed of 440cps - the fastest in its class. There's also a convenient 330cps draft mode and a 66cps near letter quality mode for regular documents and correspondence.
What's more, you get a choice of two near letter-quality typestyles, one draft typestyle and eight bar code fonts. Whichever you choose, you get quick, responsive printing that boosts productivity.
Flexibility To Handle Any Job
Top, bottom, front and rear, the FX-2170's multi-way loading gives you the flexibility you need to handle virtually any job. From multi-part continuous forms and cut sheets, to envelopes, postcards and labels, the FX-2170 can handle a wide variety of paper stocks with ease. For maximum flexibility, the FX-2170 features a fixed rear push tractor and a removable second tractor that can be used either as a top pull tractor or a front push tractor. And by installing an optional pull tractor in the top position, you can get front-loading, push-pull
paper handling.
To assist with high-volume cut sheet printing - optional single-bin high capacity and second-bin cut sheet feeders are also available.

The ruggedly constructed 9-pin head provides high-impact power to let you produce up to five copies in addition to a sharp clear original. And, with the convenience of a long-life ink ribbon - the FX-2170 will give you rock-solid reliability to handle high-volume printing everyday of the year.
Compatible And User-Friendly
The FX-2170 features Epson's ESC/P control language and IBM 2381 Plus terminal emulation to ensure compatibility with a wide range of hardware and software environments.
And, with it's own printer driver disk and utility software - setting the print parameters from your PC is fast and easy.
