Getting the job done with time to spare is what the FX-880 is all about. Tickets, receipts, invoices, and drafts are yours approximately 10% faster than with the previous model. You get a choice of speed settings, including super-fast output of an incredible 410 characters per second at 10 cpi in high speed draft, 310 cps at 10 cpi in draft, and 77 cps at 10 cpi in NLQ.

Allround paper handling versatility

The FX-880 does it all, without the need for options. You can manually feed from the front or rear for top output, or use the tractor unit to feed continuous paper from the front, rear or bottom. Automatic cut sheet feed from the rear is also possible using the optional cut sheet feeder. The FX-880's versatility doesn't stop there. It's ready to print on a wide range of media, including envelopes, receipts, continuous forms with labels, and multi-part forms. High quality copies

Using the FX-880's detachable tractor unit there's no need to buy an optional unit - it lets you print 5 copies with one original from the front. Networkable

Naturally, the FX-880 comes with a parallel interface. But you can also choose from a range of optional Type B interfaces for hook-up to an expanded network, enabling more people to take advantage of the FX-880's capabilities.

Status monitoring

The FX-880 comes with software enabling bi-directional communication (under Microsoft Windows 95), with a direct printer host computer connection. When using this software, if you set your PC for monitoring, an error message is automatically displayed whenever a problem arises.
