The EPL-N1600 delivers up to 16 pages-per-minute and reliability you can count on. It features 600 x 600 dpi resolution which is enhanced to 1200 dpi class with Epson MicroGray 1200 Technology. Epson BiRITech (Bi Resolution Improvement Technology) provides superb detail with sharp edges, while MicroGray 1200 Technology enhances halftone image quality. Text, graphs and even photos will stand out with exceptional clarity.
The EPL-N1600 boasts other features that give it distinct advantages over its competitors. A 150MHz processor enables extremely fast data transfer, while the standard 8Mb memory (expandable to 40Mb) means computers won't be tied up waiting to print. In addition, warm up time is only 45 seconds and first print time is a quick 15 seconds.

The operating panel on the top makes it easy to select often-used functions, while LEDs and an LCD display keep you informed of the operating status. In a Windows environment, Epson Status Monitor lets you check paper size, remaining toner and paper, and other information on your PC screen. Both paper trays (standard 250-sheet and optional 500-sheet) are universal types, and the optional face-up tray, which you can snap in with one hand, is selectable via the software.

EPSON's printer driver software provides a variety of useful options when you're creating documents. Print Layout lets you lay out two or four pages of data on a single page. Overlay makes it possible to print one image over another. You can use the Zoom function for enlarging or condensing text and graphics from 50% to 200%. Duplex Print gives you two-sided printing capability with selectable binding position (left, right or top) and the Watermark function imposes watermark images or text on documents.
