First Nation Fashion + Design

FNFD is a not-for-profit organisation that supports the development of indigenous fashion designers and artists. Epson provides education, training and technology to help indigenous fashion designers translate their hard copy designs into digital fashion.

Epson signed a landmark technology and sustainability partnership with First Nations Fashion + Design (FNFD) in 2023 and expanded the collaboration in 2025 with the launch of the inaugural Epson x FNFD Designer-in-Residency Program. FNFD is a not-for-profit Indigenous corporation dedicated to growing Australia's First Nations fashion sector by creating pathways for creative and commercial success.

The partnership helps First Nations fashion designers bring their creative visions to life by transforming original artworks into digitally printed textiles while preserving the cultural stories behind each design. Through the Designer-in-Residency Program, emerging and established designers gain the skills, experience and industry support to develop their collections and share their work with wider audiences.
